I'm planning to take GRE soon, however, being that I'm not so good at self paced study (except for computer subjects), I am thinking about taking a Kaplan prep course. Most likely the classroom option.

Does anyone have any experience with Kaplan? Is it worth taking the course?

also posted on SPF, if you stumble across it there.

IMHO, the GRE is cake. Pretty much like the SATs. I didn't study at all for the SATs or for the GREs, and I did just fine. Then again, that's just me. Your mileage may vary.

The GREs do have a terrible curse though... Right after I had taken them I was sitting in my car in the parking lot and rolled down my window... for the last time! The damn thing wouldn't go back up! So I had to drive to work right after that, and of COURSE it rained! Damn seat was wet! Driving home sitting in a wet car seat SUCKS!

I had the same experience once, although mine didn't get stuck, I just didn't know it was going to rain. And I got stuck in traffic on the way home.

I took them because I was going to do grad school where I got my bachelors, UCF. Of course, 16 months later, they still haven't told me if I got in or not!!! NEways, I'm currently going for a MS CIS at UoP. nsr81, check your PMs.
