    I forgot which program name you put into Start>Run to configure your start up programs. If anyone knows please refresh my memory . Also while im asking about this one, what is the program that tells your ip?

    Start, Run, and type in cmd. In the box that pops up, type in ipconfig and press return
    For I.P. Address

    Just so you know, never use MSCONFIG to disable services (even though that's not what you're asking--but you were probably headed there next ), it's dangerous. Type "services.msc" at Run instead.

    For the IP that is shown when you're surfing the web, go to www.whatismyip.com. This will give you your router's IP address (or your IP if you don't have a router).
