On thinkgeek.com I am hoping to buy some gear. Anyway, I checked the faq, and it says it will ship to the UK, but I must be aware of extra custom fee's etc,

Please make sure you are familiar with your country's customs process and fee structure before you order - so you know what to expect.
I am unsure how much will it be, I live in Scotland, its shipping from US.

    Anyone know?

Also what if they arrive with the package while I am out?

Best thing you can do is to find the origin postal/zip code of the retail site and who they use as a common carrier. In thinkgeek.com's case, the postal/zip code is 22030 (Fairfax, Virginia) and the common carrier is UPS/Airborne Express. So take your postal/zip code and their postal zip code, visit the UPS website and plug in your info. I'm not sure about the customs and international shipping thing, although if you're in bonnie ol' Scotland, they probably calculate it based on the size o' yer sporin.

By the way, doesn't this look cool?

You'd probably have a customs charge of around 10%, you could probably check the exact figure on the HM Customs web site.
