    how can i set a defulat browser

    i am using IE and Mozilla both

    can anyone tell me how can i set default browser?

    i often change my defualt browser!!!

    Whenever you start a browser that is not the default, it will normally ask you if you want to switch to that browser. If it doesn't ask, look around in the browser's preferences to find that option.

    no currently i set firebird as my default browser but when i open IE it doesn't show me defualt confirmation dialog?

    In IE:

    --> Go to the tools menu, and then select Internet Options
    --> Then select the 'Programs' tab
    --> at the bottom of that tab, it says something like "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser". Check/Uncheck that to suit your preference.

    That probably means IE is the default browser. Try opening a html file from the desktop, or your 'My Documents' folder for example... Which browser does it open in?

    i checked

    i checked there is also a option like ie

    in
    > tool
    > option
    > general

    there we can set firebird as default browser but we can remove it as default
