I have just cut and pasted months worth of work on a website to a new location within my web directory on my PC. But the problem is that it is now totally inaccessible in any way. Opening the files in Dreamweaver results in an 'Access Denied' message. Opening the files through http://localhost/ in my browser causes the following errors:
Warning: Unknown(c:\whatever\): failed to open stream: Permission denied in Unknown on line 0

Warning: (null)(): Failed opening 'c:\whatever\' for inclusion (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in Unknown on line 0
Opening any image files results in an 'Access Denied' message. Trying to copy/delete any files or folders results in an 'Access Denied' message.

    Am I totally buggered?

$50 reward for solving this, as it is very important I get this fixed.

My operating system is Windows XP.

It looks like you're trying to open a whole directory rather than a single file, which isn't really doable.

    Huh?

This isn't a PHP problem, it's a Windows problem. When I say "access denied message", I mean a Windows error pop-up.

    Fixed!

    For future reference:
    • Boot up your computer in safe mode
    • Log in the administrator account
    • Find the file, go to properties --> security and check all of the 'full control' check boxes.
    • Restart

You were trying to access it from another PC, not the main PC, correct?
