    Hi all,

This is about creditcards fraud/safety matters.
It’s just that I red something about it, when I was searching for a ‘payment’ service.
It seems to that people who commit ‘creditcard’ fraud , are mostly using an online e-mail service like “hotmail/yahoo/freemail” etc, besides that they are usually using PO box address.

Although, I’m sure that it is a minority of people with an online e-mail account and/or PO box address who are committing such crimes.
My question is still ‘what to do about it?
Just accept that it happens, and taking the risk? What means that if it happens, you’re losing money, but not only that ‘it means losing your name as well. (It can never be good for your business!).
And then the other option is. Not to accept customers with an online e-mail account and/or PO box address ? But that has consequences as well, because it not only might cost market share, but I guess that the honest people with an online e-mail account and/or PO box address might feel themselves discriminated?

Anyhow, this might be a start of a discussion of this matter? Perhaps some forum members have experiences with that or can tell of how they see it of what they have done about it?

    I will hear,

I would say that most people with Internet Access will also have an ISP email address which they can use and most companies don't deliver to PO boxes at all.

Personally I would say that you should NOT under any circumstances deliver goods to people who supply an email and a delivery address that cannot be traced to them or confirmed as belonging to the card owner. I can't think of many legitimate customers who would not be prepared to have goods delivered to their home or workplace.

Require a shipping address to be the same as the billing address.
