    The only thing that affects us apart from PNG is the 'Do not allow active pages in the local zone', which means that a HTML file opened locally won't be allowed to use document.write(), innerHTML, and perhaps other DOM things.

    I don't know why it's an issue, but there you go. You can allow it with 3 mouse clicks, but I don't know how to just enable it.

    Outlook Express won't load external images in emails, but you can grant it with a single click.
