FireFox is my browser of choice. However, I occasionally use IE and have run into some weird behaviour.

All of a sudden, it shows all text at three times normal size!
All text on WDF for example shows up at this size.
(I didn't change anything in Preferences, and apparently nothing has changed there either. All accessibility options are turned off).

If I rightclick a page and choose 'Encoding->User Defined', everything pops back to normal size. The moment I click a link or use the back button, everything blows up again.
I can't find any setting/option I can manipulate to make it stop.

Have anybody experienced anything similar, or have any tip?

It's on my laptop (that I just packed away), but when I try your suggestion on this machine (stationary) it just opens the "open document" window?

You can try holding the Ctrl button and scrolling with the mouse forward and backward, you should feel the difference.

Under the View menu choose Text Size and then choose your preferred size.
