First off i am using adobe imageready CS and i wanted to create a button that had a over, selected, and down state. All i wanted the program to do was change the color of thbe text.. what happens is when i change one it changes it all.. the program only seems to allow me to change the states using the "styles" pallette..

i would appreciate if anyone could advise me on how to accomplish what i am trying to do.. or if it cant be done let me know so i dont waste my time on it anylonger

I think you could create 3 copies of the text, have 2 of them hidden on one state, then hide the existing layer and show a diff color on the next state, etc.

    That should work.
