hello everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knows how something like this is accomplished: www.raiders.com . If you go to that site, you'll see how as the mouse rolls over the menus a drop down lists appears where you can navigate through the different areas in the menus. Anyone know to do this?

    Yes.
However, there are billions/cazillions of tutorials available through a Google search, so I don't think anyone will have the stamina to punch out a working code for you here (as they're a bit verbose).

There are however a lot of posts here covering variation of your request (more design specific ones). Search through the forums, and I'm sure you'll come up with a solution that either is a match to your request, or a code sample you can build on.

If you want some code samples, www.dynamicdrive.com has a bunch of them. This is called Dynamic HTML, or DHTML. So look up one of those menus and bastard...er...customize from there.

I'll look, but somehow I never have any luck finding what I need when I need to search through hundreds of posts. Would it be possible to get a link to one of the tutorials maybe? I'm having a rough time finding anything in google.

{edit}- I didn't see the post before this with the link to the DHTML page. Thanks!

Id say your best bet is to get a menu off DD and modify it to fit your needs, they have menus like the one you want

You can make drop-down lists in CSS too, check out this model from Max Design.
