    can anybody gimme a snippet of code to load a webpage but not display it. also, something hidden so when people look at the source they dont see it (after going through server and browser).

    I dont think this is even possiable.. I am sure there might be a way to get it to load but not display anything but that would have to be some sort of client side action that would still contain the source to make it dissapear. I dont think you could get a server to send you a webpage without sending it...

    Maybe if you consider something like a server side form handling document, but it is not actually loaded onto your machine, that is all I can think of..

    try something like this:
    <td onLoad="MM_preloadImages('youpicture.jpg')">&nbsp; </td>

    not sure if it works, but that's how dreamweaver handles preloading images. Is "onLoad" an event at all? It's not included in dreamweaver... just a guess. search google if it doesn't work.

    you can try to disable right clicking or something. But if the browser can read it, so can whoever wants to see your code.

    You want nothing to appear. Nothing to be in the source. No webpage.

    Ultimately the end user's PC NEEDS to see the code to display it. If the PC can see it, so can the end user.

    well im just trying to beat the traffic builder systems. basically add my outwar link without them knowing its being loaded. if they know they will reject the page.

    any other thoughts?
