    Hi folks,

Is there a way in Dreamweaver to decide the order of text and images that people first see when they download your website? In other words, instead of a random download of txt and images, you can actually decide that e.g. the top banner/menu will be the first thing that downloads.

Not really, that I am aware of. There are some things which may or may not help you:

If you do not declare a width and height of an image, the browser will download all your HTML and images before displaying the site since it doesn't know their size. If you do declare all image sizes, the browser can go ahead and render whatever it can, in the order it receives it.

You can use a preload script to force images to load into a browser's memory before the HTML. This is usually used so that graphic rollovers don't have a lagtime.
