I want to add an interactive contact form where people can insert their names, emails, comments etc and then submit. Unforuntately I have (pretty much) no clue how to do this. Is it complicated stuff?

You need a server side scripting language (PHP, ASP(VB, C), JSP, Coldfusion, etc) to do that . (the inputs are to be stored somewhere I presume).

If you have knowledge of a script language, it's fairly easy. If not, you'll have to learn one. That will take a bit of time, but is very rewarding when you start to master it.

Any sort of interactivity through a web page (except moving objects around on the page/changing background color and the sorts), is only achievable through server scripts.
