    hi all, i know someone must know the trick with this,

    i have placed a banner on my forum & wondered how i can get it to change to the correct size when the resolution/screen size is changed,

    is there some coding etc,

    thankyou very much for any help

    use percentages instead of fixed width. without seeing the code or what the page looks like, i can't say much more

    Your banner is probably a .gif image?

    The image size is actually fixed. You can center the image in a table cell (or you might be using css). Make the background the same color as the color in the image. It will sort of appear that the image is changing size, when actually, it's only the background changing size.

    The table size (width=90%) will actually stretch to always display in
    90% of the browser window ... the image remains centered.
