    One way...

    Code:
    <EMBED SRC="peanuts.mid" AUTOSTART=FALSE LOOP=FALSE WIDTH=145 HEIGHT=55 ALIGN="CENTER">
    </EMBED>
    src="" - put filename here.
    autostart="" put true if you want file to play when page loads, false if you want the user to choose
    loop="" put true if you want sound to loop once finished, false to play just the one (unless user clicks play again)

    hope this helps

    I thought he meant like a remote where people could choose which file to play....I used to have one of those things that bfsog was describing. It got old in a hurry though.

    I'd just embed an swf with the music and the buttons. Probably the easiet way, and I'm not sure how else you would do it.
    [edit]Ah, I suddenly realize what was mentioned in the posts above. That's another way, but it's rather tacky. Looks bad. I've never used that myself, and it doesn't make for a smooth, professional looking site.

    heres a cool way...

    I done some digging around and found this example.
    It uses two buttons, play and stop. Unfortunately, if the user clicks stop, then clicks play, it starts playing from the beginning of the file.

    Note, i didnt make this, i just zipped it up so you could have a copy, i got it from http://www.javascripter.net/faq/sound/play.htm

    The bgsound src="jslience.mid" is just a file to stop the main file playing, you dont need a midi file called jsilence.mid

    Hope this helps
