    I wanted to find out what are the standard web fonts that we can use so that everyone can see them.... Also what are the most popular fonts to use, best looking etc?

    What is the font that is used here at WDF?

    I always wanted to find this out. heheheh

    And to jbagley: this article and this thread (so far) talk about system fonts, and you can program them in your styles (note that in html you can also describe a font as "serif" or "sans serif").

    But, when it comes to graphics, you have a lot more options to choose from. Similar rules of shapes are applicable to your graphics. It really depends on the mood of the site you are creatign. Typography is a huge field!

    Some fonts I know people like for graphics / nav bars...
    Sans serif... Futura, Gill Sans, Myriad, Tahoma.
    Serif... American Typewriter, Garamond, Bookman Old Style

    I have an eye for detail like you'd never believe.
