A website I am working on has a subscription-based newsletter. The business is going to be sending out HTML-based emails because that is what the client wants. However, I am having trouble getting the messages through spam filters, like with Yahoo.

Does anyone know if there is a way to mark HTML email messages so they aren't seen as spam?

Any help would be greatly apppreciated!

generally you can't, as then spammers would just mark spam as non-spam.

it may be possible to include a remote iFrame in the e-mail. That was the spam scanner might not scan the iFrame. Alternatively if u can include PHP in e-mails u can make it extract the news from a remote database.

    Kurt-
We send out HTML emails on a monthly basis and usually don't have a problem with them going through. It might be your content rather than the fact that it's HTML format. Try this online tool I sometimes use to validate content: http://www.lyris.com/contentchecker/. It runs your content through mail filters and will tell you if you have anything that might exceed the thresholds for being identified as spam. Hope that helps.
