A problem I've had for some time, is logging in to Cpanel from work.
Both Cpanel and Webmail are using port 8081, which is blocked by my employers firewall.

A workaround, is to set up a cpanel proxy. A Danish indivdual (Niels Andersen) has made a PHP script that sets this up automatically:
    http://cpanelproxy.net/

The script is opensource and can be downloaded and scrutinized.
The autoinstaller (link on the page), installs the subdomains automaticaly for you.

After completion, you can access cpanel or webmail on the open port 8080.

Normally you would type: domain.com/cpanel which would halt when behind firewalls blocking traffic on ports other than 8080.

Now you can type: cpanel.domain.com and get access through port 8080.
