Hello All,
Even though I am just getting started, a friend found out and now has asked me to take over and update her herbal wares site. So far so good. I do have two questions.
She has already signed up for Paymentech (hopefully a good choice, done before I was in the picture) but needs to secure her site before Paymentech sets up. I was thinking Verisign, any comments?
Also, is there a way to have an automatic email sent from the website to the seller's email when a transaction is made. According to Paymentech you have to log on to your account for info, no email notification.
She wants to offer in-a-hurry delivery if its needed. (You know if you ever had poison ivy you don't want to wait.)To do that it would be better if her email gave her the heads up. Any suggestions?

Well Verisign wouldnt be a bad idea but however if you send her an email just tell her it needs imediate attention so she can sign in and get the information. Email if very insecure as far as the web goes so you really should email her all the specifications on someones order. That is a major liability. Just use a script that says if immediate shipping is required then mailto: her@herwebadrees.com
