When you purchase a new hosting service, they usually inform you of something called the DNS record (it looks something like "ns1.domainnameserver.com"). Once you have this information, you have to go to your domain registrar (which is the website that you registered your domain name with) and update the DNS record to the one that the new hosting service has given you.

A quick and simple explination of the DNS record would be: The address that a user gets redirected to once someone has typed your domain name (more or less).

I hope this helped. Please let me know if you need a good hosting service, i have one that has really impressed me.

    Thank you.
