    I have a 5MB file that I am trying to make to QuickTime and I am using Vegas 5.0

    But when it makes the file the new .mov file is 1.0GB ????

    Why so big and how can I make this file

    QuickTime can be anywhere from very compressed video and audio to completely uncompressed video and audio. You need to choose a compression level that does what you want.

    Media cleaner 5 is pretty good for video compression.
