I need a webhost

about $5 a month, atleast 500mb, free domain. any suggestions? no hidden costs or anything..

hmmm.... I use www.apt-hosting.net , if you click "sign up now" you can select a special package thats $10 a YEAR, though you get 1gig of sapce and 25gigs of bandwidth a year with no-setup fee. you don't get a free domain but you could register at godaddy or something for $8 a year, so combined it would be around $1.50 a month.

www.dreahost.com is also really awesome. No worrying about space, subdomains, DB's etc. It starts at about 7.95 a month with a free domain.

Shop around before you decide on a host. Remember, when something is too good to be true, it usually is.

quick question what kind of host a am assumeing you are willing to pay for it but wat is your price range?

Are you looking for a PHP or ASP host?
Will you need a database in the future such as SQL or MySQL
Can the package support multiple domains?
Do they have a 24/7 telephone service?

These are important questions before committing to a host.

Also, who is the website for? If it's for yourself or a hobby type site then the free ones maybe OK. If it's for a client make sure the host is reliable. If I was a paying client I wouldn't be too happy about the website I'd paid for being on a 'free' webhost. Nothing in life is free in the long run, and that includes free webhosting!
