/forums or /forums/? Images Not Working if /forums but do if /forums/ (with last /)?

So on my forums all of the images don't work if you view it without the last slash (www.tekponline.com/forums) but they do with the slash (www.tekponline.com/forums/).

Why is this, any help?

use this as a base href your images are refrenced relativly and therefore one works and not the other...
