Let's say I have a database containing various tasks for various employers/members. All these tasks have a date and/or a time slot in the future which represents a meeting, a deadline, a time span, etc.

When a certain person logs in, he's presented with tasks/schedule/meetings etc, tailored for him.

Beyond presenting him with an option of printing it out, I would like to include an option of downloading a file that could be imported into MS Outlooks calender function.

    The question is:
Are all fields mandatory, or could you make a file containing only the 'bare-bone-neccessary' fields?
If the latter is possible, what are the minimum fields required?

When I make a .csv file of a test appointment in Outlook and export it, I'm presented with this mess (the headers are in Norwegian, but illustrates the number of fields):
    "Emne","Startdato","Starttidspunkt","Sluttdato","S luttidspunkt","Hele dagen","Påminnelse på/av","Påminnelsesdato","Påminnelsestidspunkt","Møte arrangør","Obligatoriske deltakere","Valgfrie deltakere","Møteressurser","Beskrivelse","Fakturer ingsinformasjon","Følsomhet","Kategorier","Plasser ing","Prioritet","Privat","Reisegodtgjørelse","Vi s tid som"
    "Dette er en test","11.1.2006","12:30:00","11.1.2006","15:00:00 ","Usann","Sann","11.1.2006","12:15:00",,,,,,,"Nor mal",,"","Normal","Usann",,"2"
I assume a similar file would be 'importable' in MS Outlook.
