    In firefox my website looks beautiful, and seamless. But in IE all my tables get out of line with eachother and i get ugly patches of space where there shouldn't be. Anyone know whats causing this and how I can fix it? Thats my code for the website as you can see I used ImageReady and Photoshop to slice up my webpage.

    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Obscurite</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    .style1 {color: #FFFFFF}
    -->
    </style></head>
    <body bgcolor="#000000" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
    <!-- ImageReady Slices (Obscurite.psd) -->

    Ok I fixed the original alignment problem, but I still have a problem with white borders around my entire image, my thought is that since my files are .png format IE is reading the transparent space as white..

    as mlseim says, we could help figure out the issue if we could see what you are talking about visually.

    The table is only 801 px wide
    Your background is listed as black.

    I'm not sure what you are saying is white. If you are using transparent png files, the transparent areas are rendered white in IE. Look at it in firefox. Other than this, It would help to see at least a screenshot of what your issue is.
    Cheers, zionlocke :chinese:
