Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 has been released: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx

    Good Review: http://www.robertnyman.com/2006/02/0...st-test-drive/

This beta includes all (or most?) of the CSS changes they are going to implement in the final version. So it's worth testing and fixing any problems with your sites, the * html hack no longer works, some things that have not been changed are support for min/max width/height.
WDF is all messed up at the moment and the warning no longer appears at the bottom, as are many sites ironically including uk.msn.com.

The postbit is a train wreck only because of that top search bar which relies on so much CSS floating that it took a lot of work for just IE6/Firefox/Safari. The top doesn't look too terrible.

The problem is, when I coded the CSS for WDF v5, I applied CSS towards supporting browsers using selectors only supported by those versions (see how the browser warning works). Now IE7 is selecting some, but not all, of those lame hacks and is blowing up.

As for the last post indicators...well IE is just a piece of crap in that respect.

I'm not concerned though until IE7 final is released, and even then really only for Vista when it will become the majority browser, overtaking IE6.

Whenever i shut it down it comes up with an error, apart from that it looks like a new skin for firefox, i am not very impressed.
