BAH!! they have already run out of accounts!! I wonder if this is going to turn into the next google fad.. remember the gmail craze?

The good thing is they can never fully replace the web designer, they might try to portal and template their way around it, but unless they get rid of the web completly we are here to stay..

I don't have a gmail so I can't really look at the features, but it sounds like either:

1- A drag and drop on par w/ geocities

2- What was that thing that came bundled w/ Netscape about 8-10 years ago? COMPOSER! That's what it was called! Netscape Composer, ah... the good ol' days!

I have an eye for detail like you'd never believe.

    "fad"?? Gmail is the best!
But, yes, it was crazy watching people buy invites like crazy on eBay. Still, I use Gmail for all my mail accounts and wouldn't want it any other way.

Did you look at the code it generated! That's a lot of <head> you can't access!

Also, it says it hacks for IE on Mac... really? Not so much!

So the page looks okay, but how is the interface? Would someone who doesn't know the first thing about HTML and CSS be able to produces something as smooth?

    Doesn't look too bad code-wise.

But it seems like they create styles for every single HTML tag you could possibly use even if you never intend on using them.

Also, I don't see why it uses a Strict document type when it's going to let people get away with using unstrict coding practices.
