    I built a page at 800x600. I'm trying to figure out how it is I can get the content/layout to be centered, that way when people view the page at say 1024x768, the content doesn't stretch leaving the page with a lot of white space. Sort of like if you made everything in a table and just did a center alignment. Here's a link to what I have.

    The navigation on the left stays to the left and the flash on the right stays justified to the right. The content is on a div. I'd like to have it all set to where it will look uniform in whatever resolution.

    You might want to make your banner image width = 760 pixels.
    Then, make a couple changes as shown below ...

    Here's your CSS portion for "body"

    body {
    background-image: url(images/background.jpg);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;

    Try changing it to this:

    html, body {
    background-image: url(images/background.jpg);
    cursor: default;
    font-family: "Verdana", arial, "MS Sans Serif", Geneva, sans-serif;
    font-weight: normal;
    font-size: 10px;
    line-height: normal;
    margin: auto;
    padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
    min-width: 760px;
    text-align: center;

    Then, add this to your CSS file and wrap everything inside of it.

    #wrapper {
    margin: 0px;
    width: 760px;

    So, inside your HTML file, you would have

    <div id="wrapper">
