So, I realize most people around here probably don't use Linux, but for those who do, I found the most fantastic little script yesterday. It's called IEs 4 Linux, and it basically just runs and installs IE6, 5.5, AND 5.01, with the Flash 8 plugin, and puts some shortcuts on your desktop to the three. Totally kickass, and it's going to make my testing life SOO much easier to be able to run them on my desktop.

Now, for reference, IE ran in Wine before, but I've tried to go through the process more than once and it just wouldn't work. This script is awesome because it does it all for you! Yay!! :-)

    Ok, I'm done :-P

A rough cost for Linux is somewhere in the vicinity of $0.00

    http://www.gentoo.org/
    http://www.kubuntu.org/
    http://www.ubuntu.com/
    http://www.opensuse.org/
    http://fedora.redhat.com/

Pick one :-) Or, do a search for `linux distribution' and you should find a whole ton more.

Hehehe. No worries. In terms of community, by the way, I've found the Gentoo community to be unbelievably helpful. The downside is, you're more likely to need the help :-P
