    Hey im joofhart im a new webdesigner.
    in one of the guides it says use style sheets wherever possible. i dont understand what that means
    i mean i use photoshop to do my page editing and it just import into dreamweaver to do saving at optimised.
    when i change the layout in photoshop it changes everything on the site. but i havnt uploaded onto the internet yet so im not sure if style sheets has nething to do with easy updating on the internet.

    hey yeah i know how to do css, but only for forums, i cant write it myself but i know how to edit default css.

    It's no different for your own websites. If you can edit existing forum stylesheets, you can create your own. Those tutorials should help you out.

    The stylesheets will enable you to keep your site standards compliant, and allow you to alter pretty much everything, such as text and link colours, borders, etc. You use CSS instead of placing the attributes in the XHTML tags (eg. [minicode]<img src='' width='x' height='y' />[/minicode]). Means you can update the style of your whole site without going through every page.
