    i'm working on reworking my portfolio website. this is what i have so far:

    www.adamschoonover.com/temp/

    I want to add a gradiant background, or something to draw the eye toward the pictures. Anyone have any ideas how to take this up a notch?

    thanks!

    How about centering the whole thing and maybe a slight
    border around the container?

    To center, mess with the body style:

    margin: 0px auto;
    width: 100%;
    padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
    text-align: center;

    I would say no to the border, it would make it look smaller than it already is. Centreing the layout would be good though. You can shorten the padding bit to [minicode]padding: 0;[/minicode]; it does the same thing.
