I am working on creating a profile site similar to myspace where people can register and get a profile, friends, comments, blogs, etc. And am currently working on theming it. I have two themes right now: reddark and grassgreen but they are just very basic ones. If anyone would like to help me and create some themes that are compatible with my site, download this file which has CSS and a test page in it. I want to have themes that have images embedded in the left of them like on this site where you have that announcements image at the end of each header of a box, or something cool with gradients or images or something better then what I have now, but I have no idea how.
    EDIT: new theme: orangejuice
    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    sheesh!

I hope you're not going to stick with that introduction you now
have on your templates. You're basically telling people that your
profile system sucks and they're stupid if they sign up?

That doesn't exactly promote much confidence. And why should
I (or anyone else) even bother to help you out? You obviously don't
have any passion or confidence for what you're doing.

Thats actually a joke. Since the system isn't developed yet and so many people tried to sign up and were complaining after I made it clear that stuff isn't working yet, I put up a list of their complaints and why its not done yet. I'm going to try and promote the site once I get a stable version, but its tough to do that when every day more and more tables popup on my database and I need to delete them cuz people are signing up and there are errors from the last night in the code. (Once its a production version I'll try and get people to sign up but not now when I am supposed to be the only one using it until I can make sure everything works)

So why not disable the "sign up" feature?!

I can't disable signups because I need to sign up for test accounts since the signup feature isn't working right yet. But I'll remove the link to sign up.
[I changed the intro. But it seriously wasn't the thing that was going to be put in the production version of the site, I promise!]

I know ... So ... if I do this ... create a theme for you, what do I get in return?

A better question is, why did you start announcing it and the URI before the system had at least some preliminary access working? Now that people have the URI, why not change URIs on them temporarily and leave an `under construction' note on your current one? It'll make your life substantially easier.

I've also always been a fan of testing locally before uploading to a remote server, but that's a different discussion.

Well, I announced those two URLs so that people could see the templates that I have. I need help, above anything else, and couldn't test locally because I can't get a local server running with PHP no matter how hard I try.
All of this seems off my original topic... I can handle the issues of the site myself, but what is irking me is the CSS stuff, exactly why I posted here.
[But I'll take your advice and switch to an under construction page]
    thx
