    Hi all
    it's my first time here, so please be kind!
    I have made a number of websites for myself and other people, but now I'm really stuck.
    I'm using Dreamweaver 8, and have built a page and have got a vertical navigation bar made up of 5 different rollover images. Problem is, when I assign a link to an image, the other 4 images all link to the same page - they don't seem to want to link to different pages. It's driving me mad, so if anyone has any hints as to how to change this, I'd be very grateful!

    Many thanks, Penguin

    Penguin can you provide us with some coding so we can see what you are trying to achieve here, providing us with coding will no doubt help us understand what you want.

    Hi KillaTeddy.
    here's a link to the page I'm having trouble with:
    www.danjacobs.co.uk/biog.html
    DW just seems to make all the images on the LHS link to "tuition" page. Any use?

    Penguin the reason it is only linking to the tutorial is that this is the only a href in that coding here is your coding. I have highlighted in red where your a href starts and where you close it.

    <td width="72" height="375" valign="top"><a href="tuition.html" target="_self"><img src="images/home_up.gif" alt="home" name="Image1" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image1" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image1','','images/home_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"><br>
    <img src="images/tuition_up.gif" alt="tuition" name="Image2" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image2" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image2','','images/tuition_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"><br>
    <img src="images/biog_up.gif" name="Image3" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image3" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image3','','images/biog_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"><br>
    <img src="images/contact_up.gif" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image5" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image5','','images/contact_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"><br>
    <img src="images/links_up.gif" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image6" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image6','','images/links_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"></a></td>

    To my knowledge you would have to open each new a href at before you insert the picture/event handlers then close each a href at the end of each picture/event handlers for example:

    <td width="72" height="375" valign="top"><a href="tuition.html" target="_self"><img src="images/home_up.gif" alt="home" name="Image1" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image1" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image1','','images/home_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"></a><br>
    <a href=""><img src="images/tuition_up.gif" alt="tuition" name="Image2" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image2" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image2','','images/tuition_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"></a><br>
    <a href=""><img src="images/biog_up.gif" name="Image3" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image3" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image3','','images/biog_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"></a><br>
    <a href=""><img src="images/contact_up.gif" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image5" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image5','','images/contact_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"></a><br>
    <a href=""><img src="images/links_up.gif" width="70" height="70" border="0" id="Image6" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image6','','images/links_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"></a></td>

    Having each one link to a different page will stop all of them linking to the same page.
    Hope this helps.
