Here is my website : http://www.braffo.com

Im trying to completely remake the site and Im currently learning CSS. Thats great and all but the tutorials are teaching stuff like text, coloring, background images. Thats great and all but I dont know how to do the simplest of things like change x part of this site around to where I want it to go.

Did I learn the wrong thing? The site uses .tpl files for starters so what should I do with those?

    I have Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.

It all depends on how you want your redesign to look.

If you want to keep it roughly as it is (what I would call a 3 column layput) then you have to decide if it is to be fixed width or liquid (designs that change depending on resolution/browser window size).

Look into the css properties display, float and margin.

Other links = Some CSS layouts you should study, CSS on w3schools and CSS Guide

Good luck. A lot of amazing CSS'ers on these boards, if your stuck come back and we will do our best to help.

i think you should make it thinner, scrap the logo and the top bar.
make all the banners the same width

Thank you for all of your suggestions.

solidgold, I completely agree with you. I was just messing around, Im sure I could make a more cleaner GUI if I dabbled more in a bit of CSS.
