Does any one know anything about RSTO?
Can you recommend any others? What about TOP (Trade Online Project)?
Also, and in your experience, what are the prerequisites for a really good ecommerce site?

    I can't answer your first 3 questions.

As for the 4th a good ecommerce should be properly set up off line. What i mean by this is you should have delivery system, refund systems and everything else people have come to expect set up and implemented. Without these you won't get many sales. Further more if you are not ready to take sales when your site is launched you can easily get a bad reputation.

As for site design don't be too innovative. When people shop they expect easy access to what they are trying to find. The design should always help the shopper and not hinder them. To make sure you achieve this you will need to do quite a lot of site testing.
