Ok, I'm building a client a site that is going to be an Alternative Medicine community specializing in herbal remedies. The owner is a certified herbologist and acupuncturist. The idea is to provide the members some insight into how herbal rememdies work, and also to sell them.

So far, we're down to 2 names, and I need to know which you guys think will be more successful as a community website?

    1. ComprehensiveHerbs.com - Very descriptive about what the site is about, but kind of long and difficult to type in all the time.

    2. Herboria.com - A pseudo-latinate name that is short and easy to type in, and hints at the meaning of the site, but doesn't really mean anything.

    So? Whaddya guys think?

    Hi Steve!
    Nice to see you're alive.

I thought "MedicalHerbs, HerbsAndLife, HealthyHerbs, HerbsHelp, etc" where better names, but when I typed them in the address field, it appeared those and all other conceivable name variants already exists.

The only "unresolved URL" message came with "HerbScience.com".

If I had to choose between your suggestions, I would go for "Herboria.com" as it's short and easier to remember than other constructs.

(Take care, talk to you soon )

Ok, well upon doing some research, it appears that the client's biggest competitor is already using www.herborium.com - so herboria is out.

After a brainstorming session, we came up with 35 other available domain names. We narrowed it down to the following:

    HERBALREFUGE.COM
HERBALTUS.COM ("altus" is Latin for ancient / secret wisdom)
HERBENE.COM ("bene" is Latin & Italian for "well")
HERBONA.COM ("bona" is Latin & Italian for "good")
    HERBOSE.COM
    HERBUCOPIA.COM ("copia" = "plentiful")
MEDIFORA.COM ("fora" is plural for "forum")
    ORGANICRELIEF.COM
REMEDICOR.COM ("medicor" is Latin for "to heal")
    REMEDYTREE.COM

After even more hashing it out, I think we're going to use www.RemedyTree.com as the website, and www.Remedicor.com as the supllement brand.

Thanks for the help, though, guys!

PS - I'm going to be around a lot more! I reopened Transio. :-D
