For a guy who doesnt have experience in Flash or Shockwave, but wants to juice up my site with some animations (hopefully, from my raster graphics) which one would you use?

Which one has a better user interface? Easier to use?

    Thanks

Go with Flash. Flash animations can be made with a couple different programs, it's much more widespread, and it doesn't require so much technical knowledge. You do have to work frame by frame using keyframes, whereas with Shockwave you move objects around. But Shockwave takes a bit more technical knowledge, has a more advanced scripting language, and can only be produced using Director. Shockwave is going to be the choice for making games and such, but Flash is the less costly and easier thing to work with. Or so I've heard - I've only worked with Flash.
