    I have been looking at VirtueMart the past few days and I wanted to get some feedback from you guys if I should start switching to Joomla/virtuemart ??

    Any opinions, insides???

    I've used both. I prefer VirtueMart, simply because of Joomla's CMS capabilities and its easy integration with other components, and also the fact that you can sell "virtual" (downloadable) products with VirtueMart.

    But there are major issues with the whole Joomla CMS (e.g. SEO problems, poor HTML, database inefficiency that makes large sites slow as molasses) that are making me look towards Drupal + the Drupal e-Commerce Module instead of Joomla + VirtueMart. It seems like a lot more work to get a base install in Drupal, but once you get a configuration you like, people say Drupal is the best OS CMS available.
