My company has an affordable Opt-In newsletter called Express Email Marketing - it is a newsletter and a mailing list product with opt-in results being automatically managed so you never have to worry about spam complaints. You can send out hundreds or thousands each month.

I was recently referred to Drupal.org. There are different types of software. Just click "demo" and then take a look on the left nav bar. There are a number of different types of software to choose from. Some of the E-Commerce ones have newsletters built in. I am sure there is something there specifically for news letters. :-)

I've installed one piece of software from this website and it's quite easy. Just put the downloaded folder on the server you wish to install it on and goto an installation webpage with your web browser. All you have to do is insert a little information. It's pretty much like signing up for a forum.

Hmm... I'll do a little looking around, as I might be in the market for something like this (preferably open-source) in the near future... I'll be back with some info, hopefully....
