I need a content editor, much like which is used on forums. 1 click BBCode. It could be a wysiwyg editor or it could just be a text area with buttons.

I have been looking for one this afternoon but have been having some difficulty.

Just to make it clear, i am not looking for a CMS solution. I am looking for something which will add more functionality than a basic textarea. Something which will allow a person to edit content without knowing html.

You could give that a go. Unfortunately, I can't really offer any help on how to use it.

Also have a go at TinyMCE.
Note on code: If I give code, please note that it is simply sample code to demonstrate an effect. It is not meant to be used as-is; that is the programmer's job. I am not responsible to give you support or be held liable for anything that happens when using my code.

FCKeditor is great but does anyone know of a more simple editor or a tutorial for adding you own BOLD, ITALIC, and UNDERLINE buttons to a basic textarea
