A new approach for freelancers is my site Logo Wars.
You actually see what you cash you can win by participating in posted design projects. The plus side, is that you also get business leads when other people see your work, view your portfolio and contact you for their own needs. It's fresh and hot.
Forgive me for posting this. If it is against the rules, then please delete it wihout prejudice. I thought it would help those in search of design work and not intending to spam.
Logo Wars appears to be non-existant... Check out Design Contest
You have to submit 10 posts to the forum and then have your portfolio site reviewed before you are accepted to the 'design team', after which you are free to bid on the projects. Similar idea to the already mentioned SitePoint.
Hey there guys.
Not sure if I am allowed to post this here, (if not then I apologise), but I have just set up a site for freelancers/ contractors/ recruiters in the design industry.
The site is at http://currentlylookingforwork.com and it's free to join.
I use getafreelancer.com, rentacoder.com. Rentacoders' procedures are very strict but a good one. GAF is very flexible. I have already done few projects thru them.
GAF is best...
There are lot of small sites too but they don't have enough project providers![]()
Hello,
I highly suggest our site http://www.netafreelancer.com
We currently have a lot of open projects up for grabs to freelancers seeking projects. If you are a freelancer, you can register at our site free of charge.
We also encourage service buyers to register and try out our dedicated pool of freelancers.
You get a $5 bonus upon sign-up!![]()
Thank U for all !!!!!!!!!
This was very informative, but most of them need payment eventhough it is very small.i wants some free offering.
Thans again for all
Thanks everyone for all the info. I've used getafreelancer in the past, and haven't been too happy with it. Looks like I'll be trying Rentacoder next.
