    Hey guys. I made this navigation panel.

    What I want is a script or something to make the little white boxes kind of GLOW when you hover over the link. What would I need for that?

    Here's the pic:

    I need detailed instructions if possible.

    I know it has something to do with sprites but I don't know how to start...

    Thanks for your time and effort

    Look up jquery. Once you do that
    you can do something like this

    <script type="text/javascript">
    }, function(){

    This questions way to open ended without seeing any markup.
    post your navigation markup and the related css

    you could always create a transparent bg with gimp or adobe that is say, 10px larger then the pic then paste your pic in the center then make a second with a glow effect filling the transparent edges then
    { background-image: url(http://whatever); }
    :hover { background-image: url(http://hoverwhatever); }
    //but IE7 has poor support for transparent images//
    //but IE7 is also on its way out//

    while($get_it !== true){ continue; }
