    Hello,
    I will display a video on my website and bought one from one of those sites selling videos pictures etc... but I would like to make a slight modification to the video picture itself...So I am not talking about changing file type or size of video etc...here....I want to edit the actual video picture slightly (such as adding something new to the image or deleting a certain part of picture.)
    1- Is this possible? If so how?
    2- If item 1 is not possible (or even if it is possible please try to answer this one anyway), then I thought about putting a picture on top of the video playing. The image I want to add is going to be at a fixed (not moving) part of video, so it is okay. But, when try to add the picture on top of video playing, the picture always stays behind the video playing, so it is not visible. I even made video z-index smaller than picture z-index. So, Can I make a picture display on top of a video playing?
    Note: My video file is a quicktime .mov file.
    Here is my code to display the video:
    <div style="position:absolute; top:1270px; left:250px; z-index:-2">

    <object width="600" height="405"
    classid="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B"
    codebase="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab">
    <param name="src" value="pictures/video1.mov" />
    <param name="controller" value="false" />
    <param name="autoplay" value="true" />
    <param name="loop" value="true" />
    <!-- Code For Older Browsers -->
    <embed src="pictures/video1.mov" width="420" height="360"
    autoplay="true"
    loop="true"
    controller="false"
    pluginspage="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/">
    </embed>
    </object>
    </div>
    and here is my code to display the image on top of video file:
    <img style="position:absolute; top:1270px; left:250px; z-index:1" SRC="pictures/cars/cars_small1.jpg">

    right now, the image stays hidden behind the playing video....

    So you want to use only the audio from the video file? Do you have actual access to the video, or is it only a link to the video stored on their servers?

    I have the video file on my computer and I uploaded it to my website host's server. And no, I want to display picture of the video too. But, I just want something in the video to appear differently. (as if you are modifying a photo and changing colors, adding/deleting certain shapes, parts etc...i.e. adding an extra door to a house picture, changing color of what someone is wearing etc...)

    Then this has nothing to do with web design. You'd need to edit it in a video editing program.
