I am looking for an ecommerce solution. I want the customer to have the option to be able to make payments on the item purchased. I also would like something I can integrate my own design into. I can do the .psd file and possibly the html, but would like something I can use this with. I want one that is either a reasonable monthly or annual cost. Thank you so much! I look forward to seeing everyone's suggestions!

I like Magento . Its a little tricky to get your head around customising it but once you have its a joy.

I've fought with Joomla and OSCommerce before but never managed to get any sites up and running as would always run into problems with the payment module integration. This is so easy in Magento just fill in a couple of boxs and your done.

It is rather a big programme though so can run abit slowly

Magento is a great solution, but requires a 512 MB VPS (minimum) to run smoothly.

Also, the default CSS and JS equate to about 700k of downloads that a visitor needs to get before your site renders... you definitely have to tweak that if you want a nice website.
