    This is a new approach for a problem I made another thread for. But I didn't want to shift directions in the other thread and confuse everyone, so I created a new thread.

    I am trying to embed this rss feed:

    http://output49.rssinclude.com/outpu...54f717deaff335

    into a flash site. It's a flash site that calls to an .xml file that contains the text for the flash site...I tried using:

    <object width="700" height="700">
    <param name="movie" value="http://output49.rssinclude.com/output?type=php&id=13400&hash=4e6bf13f223fa34f9754 f717deaff335">
    <embed src="http://output49.rssinclude.com/output?type=php&id=13400&hash=4e6bf13f223fa34f9754 f717deaff335" width="700" height="700">
    </embed>
    </object>

    To embed the feed but, while the rest of the flash site loads fine, the portion where the rss feed is inserted just keeps saying "loading..."

    I don't have a flash editor program to edit the flash itself and would prefer to do this without a flash editor if I could...I feel I'm close to making this work and maybe I'm just using the wrong embed codes...Any help would be great. Thank you!

    p.s. and sorry for abandoning my other thread. I may go back to it if this direction proves no good.

    Use ActionScript. Use the URLRequest and URLLoader classes to connect to the RSS feed, then parse the result using the XML class.

    I've never done that before. How much of a learning curve is there as I'm confined to a friend's time frame?
