    Has anyone else had this problem? I have a google custom search box on this site:

    http://www.searchsites.ms11.net/index2.htm

    And I can't for the life of me get the search button on the same line as the search box, even though that's what the sample google shows looks like. I've played with the parameters but nothing works.

    Nor can I get the search box background color to black. I have almost every color set to black (none white) and yet the search box background is still white. There is not a lot of code to this and that's why it''s so confusing:

    HTML Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en">
    <head>

    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
    <title>Title Goes Here</title>
    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    function sf(){document.forms[0].q.focus(); document.forms[0].q.backgroundColor="#000"}
    function addEvent(elm, evType, fn, useCapture)
    // make button shade display on IE
    {
      if (elm.addEventListener){
        elm.addEventListener(evType, fn, useCapture);
        return true;
      } else if (elm.attachEvent){
        var r = elm.attachEvent("on"+evType, fn);
        return r;
      } else {
        alert("Handler could not be removed");
      }
    }
    function prepareTextBoxes(){
     if (!document.getElementsByTagName) return;
     var oi=0;
     var thisObj;
     var objs = document.getElementsByTagName("input");
     for (oi=0;oi<objs.length;oi++) {
      thisObj = objs[oi];
      if(thisObj.getAttribute('type') == 'submit'){
       thisObj.className = 'text ' + thisObj.className;
      }
     }
    }
    addEvent(window, "load", prepareTextBoxes);
    // --></script>

    What is wrong with Google Custom Search? Why do they call it that when I can hardly customize any of it?

    I needed to remove multiple lines of unnecessary css code..and that fixed it. But I have one more problem maybe you guys can help with...

    First I want to raise the video player to the same height as the chat box on this page:

    http://www.searchsites.ms11.net/index2.htm

    And I'm also trying to find a good inline video player with lots of playlists that automatically updates...the one I have now on the site is pretty good but the email and mobil links don't work...Does YouTube provide an embedable player with channels that updates? I looked but youtubes api is so complicated I cant figure out how to do it...I want something like their video search bar on the right of this page: http://ajaxsearch.blogspot.com/2006/...video-bar.html

    But with four video boxes instead of six...Any suggestions for cool inline video players you guys can give would be welcome...Thank you. Almost there!
