Hello, I'm trying to set up a webpage (mainly for my photos) and am looking for an easy to use tool. I already set something up a couple years ago using a combination of photoshop, dreamweaver and (I think) frontpage. But that was a bit cumbersome.

Now I want to redo it and am looking for something with a graphic interface which can also handle Flash. I found wix.com which I liked but they want money for getting rid of banners and post through my own domain.

Does anybody know any free tools I can use?

    Thanks
    Christian

if you are just modifying your site, it sounds like you are already using the best software to do so.

Otherwise i recommend CODE. yes CODE is at the forefront in technology. with cutting edge advancements in web design CODE can get the job done every time. its as if CODE dominated the web itself. try CODE today and you will get a lifetime membership to the growing community of CODE writers. all this can be yours by googling CSS-PHP-HTML. google now!

Depending on what you want to do, flash may not be needed. What part of the web design process was cumbersome to you?

You SOB I almost googled that! Yes I'm tired and it took me a minute to get it. You walk a fine line in this forum, but I must say, you have brought a little life to it also.:-p

I want to create a slider (similar to what's shown here http://flash-creations.com/notes/dyn...dingviewer.php) and have images blend into each other.

    Need Flash?

    Thanks
    Ch

Then I'd recommend the code on that page and the one before it and follow the instructions. Looks like only minimal flash knowledge is needed.

Using flash on the page to a minimum is recommendable.
