Please excuse my ignorance as I am relatively new to development. My question is this: I created a website using Yahoo SiteBuilder. Is there any way possible to convert this static site to css without starting from scratch? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you :-/

    No there is not ...

But maybe you're not sure what CSS is?

A static web page can use CSS.
CSS (Cascade Style Sheets) is the use of tags and properties to define
the look and layout of the pages, within HTML.

A page that is not static (dynamic), would be a page that uses server-side
scripting, such as PHP to dynamically alter content, automatically ... whereas,
your static page would require you to edit it manually each time content changes.

I think you are not sure about static and dynamic website and CSS also because you cant convert your site static to dynamic using CSS because CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) just a formatting tool you can use CSS in static site also.

I think it isn't necessary for you to convert your website, because with the help of CSS you can format your site as its contents changes.

    hi there,
it is not possible to convert a yahoo website builder based website into a css based website. why you don't try to build a new static website and use css. it better then yahoo website builder.
you can also customize it with your own point of view.
    Thanks
