    When you post a blog or news entry on your website about a specific subject for news reporting purposes, as long as you show the source, it is an okay practice for just showing the photos? Lets say you see an interesting news somewhere with a photo and write about it on your blog. Is it a usual practice to include that photo in your blog, as long as you credit the source of photo?

    It depends on the policy of the source. Usually? No.

    Unlike an article, you can't make a summary or paraphrase. And usually, the photo journalist is different from the author of the article.

    "Fair use" is a defense -- as in used in your trial -- it is not protection from lawsuits.

    Here's an idea. Go out and research, interview people and take your own photos. Wear out some shoe leather for a year chasing down stories, then see if you still have the same "right click ethics."

    yeah,that is the real meaning of information sharing.Through this way,we know more about what happend , what is interesting,what do we like and so on
