What songs? Copyrighted songs, or your own songs?
You'll have to look for an online music service ... something you'll have to pay for.
Those types of things provide the "graphic interface", and the music of your choice.
The payments cover the copyright fees for you to rebroadcast the songs.

    Hi

    Thank you for your reply.

The songs will be mixes from the Dj's at the club.
Basically i need a music player which loads up the song and play it as soon as you log on to the site. And keep playing as you browse through each page. A stop forward and rewind button will also be an advantage.

Remembering this is an HTML site

Any ideas, i dont mind paying for a trusted music player

This type of player (flash player) will work with MP3 songs
and can be embeded on your HTML site.
    http://allwebcodesign.com/setup/addons-xmp3mini.htm

The problem comes with the upload part.
You'll need to get the files into a website directory.
That will require using FTP (to manually do it), or using
a server-side script (PHP or ASP) depending on your
    webhost server.

The part about playing as you browse ....
This will be an issue with just about all players I've seen.
It will have to be opened in a new window all to itself?
Other than a required plug-in, I don't know how you'll get around it.

one way to make it continue playing is to make one page with the player and an iframe for all the pages to display. the problem comes with search engines inexing. when someone clicks a link on google it will open the page only without the parent page. you can use javascript to detect this and redirect to the parent page. this should get you started.

    Dorky ...
I didn't try the <iframe> method, but my instinct is telling me that even
with that, when you navigate to another page, it will start all over again
at the beginning of the playlist. I'm sure Phil would be grateful if you were
to come up with a simple example to prove me wrong.

i didnt work hard on layout or the javascript(no money)
but it proves the continued playing theory.
